Our Thai member, Sea & Aero Logistics Co., Ltd with registered office in Bangkok, shared with us some details on the innovative and efficient services they're providing during this hectic times the World is facing.
They shared with us a complex shipment they frequently do on dis-assemble air-craft fleets and export as spare parts.
This mega project destination was from Bangkok to Miami, Taipei, Chicago, etc. The destination will depend on the sale contract of each buyer.
Some of the challenges the team faced were the requirement of a lot of management skills and good coordination between relevant departments both state enterprise, private owned
(Thai Airway, AOT (Airport of Thailand), logistics company) each contract had an specific timeline such as airport space rental timeline. They needed to monitor closely to their technical engineer to be able to perform under intense timeline according to the contract. Also they needed to provide specific stevedore team just for this case and needed to be able to adapt to avoid any issues during the process.
Sea & Aero Logistics is one of the few logistics company that have signed contract with air craft technical engineer (dis-assemble and re-assemble), air craft loading planner.
The team understands that this is a niche market segment and wish to tell the story to other forwarder friends, there’s nothing you cannot accomplish if your team stands strong together!
