Gianesini, the only FVG company member of X2 Elite
The story of the Gianesini company was published on the economy page in the Italian regional daily newspaper “Il Piccolo”. Gianesini, an almost centenary transport company projected into the future, is the only one in Friuli Venezia Giulia which is member of the X2 Elite International Network. An article that tell the story of the company. Now in its fourth generation, is led by the Gianesini family. Fulvio, Marco, Mario and Paolo carry on the business started by their grandfather Erminio in 1924.
Since 2014 they have joined the X2 Elite, an International logistics network, which brings together 243 professional freight forwarders from all continents, of which Gianesini is the only partner in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The transport company Gianesini Erminio, which started in Idria (now Slovenia) with the passenger transport service, specialized in the transport of dangerous good, and then became a freight forwarding agency. Since the 1980s the business has progressively continued to grow, adding various services, customs procedures, sea and air transportation and the opening of three branch offices: in Modena, Milan and Trieste. At the beginning of 2020 they expanded the freight shipment department with specialized personnel. The company headquartered in Gorizia is located in a central and strategic position, thanks to the Port of Trieste, which has become the first in Italy for tonnage, the Port of Monfalcone under the Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea, the proximity to autoports and interports such as Sant'Andrea, Fernetti and Cervignano, as well as the Ronchi airport. The company transports more than 2 million tons per year. Thanks to the door to door sea transport service, they provide sea freight shipments, as part of a combined shipment or through the complete container service, including Out of Gauge loads and dangerous goods, in a fast and reliable manner, boarding from Trieste, Venice and other main Italian ports. Mario Gianesini explained that joining the X2 Elite Network support the company in the management of freight shipments, logistics, customs procedures and related services, thanks to the network of partners present in 110 States.
