PK Interfreight's special mission to supply food to MS Amsterdam Cruise
The MS Westerdam Cruise Ship, which had spent two weeks at sea after being turned away by five countries over fears that someone aboard may have the coronavirus arrived in arrived at an anchoring point in the Cambodian port town of Sihanoukville on 13th February morning. The ship owned by the Holland America Line, with 1,455 passengers and 802 crew on board.
The World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised Cambodia for allowing the Westerdam to dock that “Outbreaks can bring out the best and the worst in people.â€
Our X2 Elite and Projects member, PK Interfreight Co.,Ltd, as a Thai-Cambodian freight forwarder assigned to supply food and consumer products from Thailand to MS Amsterdam Cruise at Sihanoukville port within 2 days. Due to limited time, the distance as well as customs regulation at the border, the shipment is very challenging indeed. However, with their great attitudes, the team finally finished the project within 12 hours working hard.
